American pawpaw (Asimina triloba)  is a cold hardy, tropical mango-banana flavoured fruit that is native to North America. It is related to the cherimoya and soursop. (not to be confused with papaya

  • Jack Fruit 'Black Gold' is an Australian variety with delicious small-sized fruit. Expect a bubblegum tasting golden flesh that has a firm texture (halfway between soft and crunchy).

    Black Gold is reportedly more cold tolerant than other jackfruit types, and is known to be an early season producer more suitable for subtropical climates. A great option for the warmer locations in the North Island.
