Alocasia Portora 'Aurea Variegated'
The Variegated Alocasia ‘Portora Aurea’ is a rare and striking cultivar of the hybrid Alocasia ‘Portora’, known for its massive, scalloped-edged foliage. What sets this variant apart is its aurea (yellow) variegation, which creates a dramatic contrast against its broad, deep green leaves.
Each leaf unfurls with a unique marbling of butter-yellow to creamy white variegation, often following the leaf veins or appearing in irregular patches and streaks. The variegation can be highly unpredictable, with some leaves showing heavy yellow sectors and others only subtle splashes — a hallmark of chimeric variegation.
Supported by thick, upright petioles, the plant can grow quite large in ideal conditions.
Grown in a .5L pot, well rooted. Last photo is an example of a more mature specimen and not for sale.
